Social Marketing Coordinator
(12-month secondment AT Spotify)

Jack Nimble is looking for a Social Marketing Coordinator to join on a 12-month secondment at Spotify .

Your job will be to drive production and distribution of best-in-class content through Spotify’s paid and owned social channels and support local & regional Spotify marketing programs. In this role you’ll work with Spotify’s Social Marketing Manager and the Jack Nimble team to execute the social media strategy; developing creative concepts, capturing and editing content and providing coordination alongside our external partners (including Jack Nimble!) and our paid media agency. This role is based in Sydney and will be based at the Spotify Sydney office.

The ideal candidate for this role is a creative hybrid with analytical skills, a strong understanding of the ever evolving social media landscape and experience driving social-first content initiatives from ideation to creation and distribution. Most importantly, you like to have fun at work and have a desire to make a positive impact for music fans and audio listeners.


Who you are

  • Has 3-5 years experience in social media marketing across production, creative and analysis

  • Has a solid understanding of the influencer landscape across Australia and New Zealand

  • Is proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut and/or other editing softwares. 

  • Is passionate about the Australian music scene

  • Content Creation for social media has been an integral part of your previous work history

  • Broader marketing experience across all marketing & paid media channels, including influencers is a plus

  • Understands what makes AUNZ culture distinct

  • You're a great teammate and have a positive and humble attitude

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in working with ad-tech tools is a plus

  • Great at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • You are a self-learner, are comfortable with constantly evolving environments and challenging goals

  • You are well organised, dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver and pay exceptional attention to detail

  • You are creative and always on the pulse of culture especially social media trends and tech innovations

  • Familiarity with Spotify as a user and fan is a must

  • Based in Sydney


What you’ll do

  • Support the Social Marketing Manager across social marketing initiatives across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Ideate, shoot and edit social-first video content with talent including musicians, podcast, audiobook talent, influencers and Spotify internal team

  • Your strong expertise, understanding and instincts for culture and trends will help develop, create and produce best-in-class social content across the region.

  • Support a social media presence that people look forward to hearing from and engaging with; ultimately making Spotify socials the go-to destination for music fans and audio listeners in the AUNZ region.

  • Drive regional always-on content marketing programs.

  • Localise global marketing programs for AUNZ markets.

  • Work closely with cross-functional Spotify teams locally.

  • Work with external partners (creative, paid media, and social media agencies)
