SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

The Social Media Manager will work closely with clients to build their brand identity and presence across social media. They’ll have their finger on the pulse with all things social media - from best-practice, trends, to platform-updates - and use this knowledge to manage social content from concept to delivery.


Responsibilities

  • Content Management - write, plan and create content for always on social media activity

  • Account Management - manage content approvals, run client WIPs, and keep clients happy

  • Social Strategy - have your finger on the pulse with all things social, using insights, results and trends to continuously improve content performance and identify opportunities for clients

  • Social Leadership - develop relationships with platforms and keep the agency up to date with trends, updates and insights

  • Social Media Management - publish content and community management

  • Is on Tiktok trends before they happen

  • Talented writer that understands how to write for different audiences

  • Knows every social platform back to front

  • Understands how to translate learnings and insights into brilliant strategies

  • Confident briefing and providing feedback to editors, designers and creators to ensure content is on-brand and fit-for-channel

  • Super organised

  • Strong communicator

  • Loves working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and interests

  • Detail oriented, ensuring quality control of all internal and external work

  • Takes on board feedback well, showing empathy at all times

  • Listens to clients and understands their challenges and how we can help solve them

  • Can get on the tools to create content if needed (e.g. Photoshop, filming on a phone, etc.)

  • Technical knowledge in paid activity and reporting


The performance of a Social Media Manager will be determined based on their ability to:

  • Consistently deliver social-first content on time and on budget

  • Identify opps for their clients to latch onto new social media trends, platforms and content techniques

  • Keep their clients happy and constantly coming back to Jack Nimble

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and an ability to work independently
